Basketball Recap: Mason's Losing Streak Snapped at 11 Games

Mason came into Saturday's game having lost 11 straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Prue Rockets by a score of 38-29 on Saturday. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Mason's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-15. As for Prue, they dropped their record down to 2-14 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home.

Mason is taking a road trip to square off against Butner at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mason is facing Butner at the right time seeing as Butner is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Prue, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Dove Science Academy at 7:30 a.m. on February 4th.
