Baseball Game Preview: Mid-Carolina Rebels vs. Clinton Red Devils

For the first time this season, Mid-Carolina will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup on Tuesday. They are taking a road trip to square off against the Clinton Red Devils at 7:30 p.m. The last three games Mid-Carolina has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

While Mid-Carolina's win against Chapin wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Mid-Carolina sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over Chapin on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Clinton waltzed into their match on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 4-1 win over the Yellowjackets.

Clinton's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Mid-Carolina, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Mid-Carolina beat Clinton 5-0 in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Mid-Carolina since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
