It was a good run, but Honey Grove unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 53-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bland Tigers. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 555th, while the Tigers are ranked 194th).

Honey Grove's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-10. As for Bland, their victory was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-1.

Honey Grove will take on Trenton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bland, they will face off against Sam Rayburn at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Sam Rayburn's defense has only allowed 29.8 points per game this season, so Bland's offense will have their work cut out for them.
