Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ellensburg). Everything went their way against the Othello Huskies on Tuesday as the Ellensburg Bulldogs made off with a 74-52 win. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 81st, while the Huskies are ranked 313th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Ellensburg is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.6 points per game. As for Othello, their loss was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-10.

Ellensburg will host Selah at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Selah will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Ellensburg surely won't give up without a fight. As for Othello, they will venture away from home to square off against East Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. East Valley knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Othello likes a good challenge.
