Basketball Recap: Stockton Takes a Loss

If Stockton was riding high fresh off their 59-23 takedown of Natoma last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Stockton Tigers came up short against the Rock Hills Grizzlies on Monday, falling 50-27. The contest marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Rock Hills was led to victory by Bethany Simmelink and Halle Mizner. Simmelink went 6 for 14 on her way to 22 points and five steals, while Mizner dropped a double-double on 18 points and 15 boards. That makes it three consecutive games in which Mizner has scored at least a third of Rock Hills' points. Alexandria Fogo was another key player, putting up two points.
