Softball Recap: Mortimer Jordan Takes a Loss

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three contests, Mortimer Jordan finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They lost 11-2 to the Jasper Vikings. The defeat continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their meetings with the Vikings: they've now lost three in a row.

Mortimer Jordan saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chloe Condray, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.

Mortimer Jordan's loss dropped their record down to 13-13. As for Jasper, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-8 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mortimer Jordan will venture away from home to face off against Chelsea at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Jasper, they will head out to take on Corner at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
