Basketball Recap: Mantachie Takes a Loss

After flying high against Hickory Flat last Tuesday, Mantachie came back down to earth. The Mantachie Mustangs fell 54-46 to the Hatley Tigers on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Mustangs in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now lost four in a row.

Mantachie's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Hatley, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 9-4.

Mantachie will venture away from home to take on Mooreville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mantachie is facing Mooreville at the right time seeing as Mooreville is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Hatley, they will be home for the holidays to greet Thrasher at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
