The Bennett Tigers will head out to challenge the Sheridan Rams at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bennett is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54 points per game this season.

Bennett will bounce into Tuesday's contest after beating Jefferson, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Tigers blew past the Saints, posting a 90-14 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

Bennett's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Austin Stiers led the charge by going 9-for-19 en route to 19 points and three steals. Alfredo Duran was another key player, shooting 67% from the field to rack up 13 points and three steals.

Bennett was working as a unit and finished the game with 20 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in February of 2025.

Meanwhile, Sheridan suffered their biggest defeat since February 3, 2025 on Thursday. They were dealt a 71-37 loss at the hands of Arrupe Jesuit. The Rams have struggled against the Generals recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Sheridan's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Bennett, their win bumped their record up to 6-7.

Everything came up roses for Bennett against Sheridan in their previous matchup back in January of 2025, as the team secured a 75-23 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
