Soccer Recap: Southeast Takes a Loss

Southeast fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Santa Fe South on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Saints by a score of 2-1. Southeast haven't had much luck with Santa Fe South recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Southeast's defeat dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Santa Fe South, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Southeast is set to face off against their familiar foe Lawton at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Santa Fe South will challenge rival Altus at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
