Basketball Recap: Abilene Picks Up Third Straight Win on the Road

Abilene hadn't done well against Coronado recently (they were 1-7 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Abilene Eagles walked away with a 58-49 win over the Coronado Mustangs. For the Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 63-52 victory the Mustangs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January.

Abilene's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-5. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.3 points per game. As for Coronado, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.
