Volleyball Recap: Stroudsburg Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Stroudsburg lost against Pocono Mountain West back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Mountaineers lost 3-0 to the Panthers. The Mountaineers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Stroudsburg ultimately came up short, they really made Pocono Mountain West work, particularly in the third set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-14, 27-25.

Madelyn Vargas paced Stroudsburg's offense, picking up 12 kills. Vargas got some help from Olivia Full and her 25 assists. Finally, Juliette Perich kept Stroudsburg's defense grounded, leading the team with eight blocks.

Pocono Mountain West got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kaya Kaczmarek out in front who had 14 digs and three aces. Kaczmarek is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 14 or more in each of the last three games she's played. Cayleigh Keller was another key player, getting six digs and four aces.

Stroudsburg's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12-1. As for Pocono Mountain West, their record now sits at 12-9.
