Softball Game Preview: Summit Storm vs. Ridgeview Ravens

Summit is 0-10 against Ridgeview since May of 2017 but things could change on Tuesday. The Storm will head out on the road to face off against the Ravens at 4:30 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Summit took a 15-run defeat the last time they faced off against Madras, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Storm had just enough and edged out the White Buffaloes 7-6 on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Ridgeview strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. Everything went their way against Newberg as they made off with a 12-0 win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Ravens considering their two-run performance the matchup before.

Ridgeview's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-0. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Summit, their victory ended a nine-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-3.
