Football Recap: Snyder Tigers vs. Lake View Chiefs        
        
		
             After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Pecos, Snyder was happy to have turned things around  on Friday. They secured  a  40-34 W over the Lake View Chiefs. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Tigers considering their seven-point performance the  matchup before.
 Snyder was led to victory by  Daenin Smith and  Aedyn Claxton.  Smith gained 174 total yards and three touchdowns, while  Claxton threw for 209 yards and three touchdowns. With that strong performance,  Smith is now averaging an impressive 100.5  rushing yards per game.
 Snyder wouldn't let Lake View keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Snyder can thank  Keshaun Lenard and  Daniel Cabrera for forcing both of them. That's the most  total yards  Cabrera has posted since  back in September of 2023.
 Snyder's victory  ended  a  four-game drought on the road  dating back to last season and  puts them at 1-1. As for Lake View,  they are  on  an  11-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Snyder will face off against Lubbock at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Lake View, they will challenge Lamesa at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Both  might be coming in a bit winded given how much these teams ran up and down the field in their prior games.
