Preview: Tiverton Tigers vs. Moses Brown Quakers

The Tiverton Tigers will head out on the road to face off against the Moses Brown Quakers at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Friday, Tiverton beat Mt. Hope 50-42. 50 seems to be a good number for Tiverton as the team scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.

Tiverton found their leader in underclassman Cami Oliveira, who scored 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jah'niece Branch, who scored 11 points.

Meanwhile, Moses Brown waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with 14 straight wins but they left with 15. They blew past Mt. Hope 53-33. Moses Brown has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 matches by 20 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Lauren Bousquet, who dropped a double-double on 27 points and 18 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Jaelynn Perez was another key contributor, scoring five points along with eight assists and two steals.

Tiverton pushed their record up to 8-9 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.5 points per game. As for Moses Brown, their win bumped their record up to 16-1.

Tiverton took a serious blow against Moses Brown when the teams last played back in January, falling 63-34. Can Tiverton avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
