For the second straight game, Los Altos will face off against Milpitas. The Eagles will be playing at home against the Trojans at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Los Altos has five straight wins, Milpitas has 11 straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
On Wednesday, Los Altos made easy work of Milpitas and carried off a 13-3 victory. Considering the Eagles have won eight matches by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Darrion Wesley made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was even better at the plate, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, two doubles, and one stolen base. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Quinn Chiochios, who went 3-for-4 with three runs and one RBI. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Enrique Nicolas, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
Los Altos kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in six consecutive contests.
Los Altos pushed their record up to 13-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.8 runs over those games. As for Milpitas, their loss dropped their record down to 2-13.
Milpitas' pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Los Altos hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .315. It's a different story for Milpitas, though, as they've only averaged .212. Will they be able to contain Los Altos' hitters?
