Oak Ridge barely beat Archbishop Mitty the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Trojans blew past the Monarchs 9-3 on Thursday. The Trojans haven't had any issues with the Monarchs recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

The team relied heavily on Ben Ransi, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. What's more, he posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in March. Another player making a difference was Jackson Molloy, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Oak Ridge kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They are 2-1 when they post 11 or more hits.

Oak Ridge's victory bumped their record up to 9-12. As for Archbishop Mitty, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-10 record this season.
