Volleyball Recap: Marysville Indians vs. Gridley Bulldogs
Marysville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Gridley Bulldogs, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on Saturday.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-9, 25-11.
Gridley was led to victory by Rebecca Solis and Tati Rivero. Solis had eight digs and three aces, while Rivero had ten digs. Those three aces gave Solis a new career-high.
Marysville's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Gridley, they pushed their record up to 5-2 with the win, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Coming up, Marysville will face off against Las Plumas at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Gridley, they will challenge Central Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
