Recap: Wise Pumas vs. DuVal Tigers
The Wise Pumas won the last time they faced the DuVal Tigers, and things went their way on Monday too. Wise strolled past DuVal with points to spare, taking the game 66-47.
Wise's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Alexis Obase led the charge by scoring ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cayden Hargrove, who scored 12 points.
Wise's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-3. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 76.0 points per game. As for DuVal, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-4.
Wise will be playing in front of their home fans against Flowers at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Maryland (Flowers is ranked 78th, while Wise is ranked 59th). As for DuVal, they will head out on the road to face off against Parkdale at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Parkdale focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 last Thursday.
