Short came up big in St. Clair's 9-3 victory
Winning always takes teamwork, but on Thursday Carter Short stepped things up a notch to give St. Clair the 'W'. St. James had no answer to Short as he scored a run and stole six bases while going 1-for-2.
Short and St. Clair will head out on the road to square off against North County at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
