Baseball Recap: Juab Wins Going Away Against Ogden

Juab owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Friday. Everything went their way against the Ogden Tigers as the Juab Wasps made off with a 7-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wasps.

Not much got past Kai Hansen, who gave up just a hit and racked up nine Ks to keep Ogden off the board. The dominant performance also gave Hansen a new career-low in earned runs (zero).

On the hitting side, Austin Park was excellent, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while going 1-for-3. Luke Marostica was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one RBI.

Juab's record is now 2-0. As for Ogden, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Juab will take on ALA - Gilbert North in a tournament on Friday. As for Ogden, they will head out on the road to challenge Crimson Cliffs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
