Basketball Recap: Rickover Naval Extends Winning Streak to Three

Rickover Naval won the last time they faced Chicago Academy and Emely Fajardo did her part to make sure it happened again. The Seadragons blew past the Cougars 38-12 on Friday for which the team can thank Fajardo, who posted 17 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Rickover Naval's points.

The win (which was Rickover Naval's third in a row) raised their record to 5-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 15.3 points on average over those games. As for Chicago Academy, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.
