Plainfield entered their tilt with Union on Tuesday with 15 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 16. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Union Farmers 64-31. Given the Cardinals' advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked third, while the Farmers are ranked 134th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Plainfield will head out to take on Union Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Union, they will square off against Linden at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Union is facing Linden at the right time seeing as Linden is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
