Basketball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Quincy

Quincy had won two straight games and Jada Brown did her part to make it three on Tuesday. The Quincy Blue Devils strolled past the Hannibal Pirates with points to spare, taking the game 70-55 thanks in part to Brown, who dropped a double-double with 27 points and 17 rebounds. Her evening made it four games in a row in which she has scored at least 22 points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Khloe Nicholson, who went 5 for 7 to rack up 12 points in addition to five steals and three blocks. What's more, she also posted a 71% field goal percentage, which is the highest she's posted since back in December of 2024.

Quincy's record now sits at 18-10. As for Hannibal, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 10-9 record this season.

Coming up, Quincy will welcome Moline at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Quincy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Moline likes a good challenge. As for Hannibal, they are taking a road trip to face off against Marshall at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
