Baseball Recap: Marianapolis Prep Triumphs

Marianapolis Prep barely beat Varsity Opponent the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Golden Knights blew past Varsity Opponent 9-2 on Wednesday. The Golden Knights' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Nick Vanfleet tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over 6.1 innings pitched.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Boris Valdez, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4. Those runs marked the first that he scored this season. Owen Richardson was another key player, scoring a run while going 3-for-4.
