Valliant's rock-solid pitcher showed up for the team's third consecutive shutout on Thursday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Boswell Scorpions a 13-0 shutout. That looming 13-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Bulldogs yet this season.

The team relied heavily on Ayden Fowler, who scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-2. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Auzy Trapp, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2.

Valliant always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .682. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Valliant's record now sits at 6-1. As for Boswell, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Coincidentally, Valliant and Boswell will both be playing Smithville the next time they take the field. Valliant will head out to face Smithville at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Boswell will head out to face them at 1:15 p.m. on Friday.
