Baseball Game Preview: Graford Rabbits vs. Santo Wildcats

For the second straight game, Graford will face off against Santo. The Rabbits will be playing in front of their home fans against the Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Graford will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.

Graford made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Santo, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Rabbits blew past the Wildcats 17-2 on Tuesday. The win was some much needed relief for the Rabbits as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Reed Feeguson made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He pitched six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. Graford is undefeated when Feeguson allows one or fewer earned runs, but 4-5 otherwise. Feeguson was also big at the plate, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with two RBI and one double.

In other batting news, Cye Lemley was a standout: he scored four runs and stole six bases while going 3-for-4. Those six stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Noah Perry was another key player, going 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one double.

Graford always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .587. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Santo has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8-1 record this season. As for Graford, their victory bumped their record up to 7-5.
