Recap: Sunlake Seahawks vs. Pasco Pirates

In what's become a running theme this season, the Sunlake Seahawks gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They claimed a resounding 73-31 victory over Pasco on the road. The victory was just what Sunlake needed coming off of a 70-45 defeat in their prior match.

Pasco lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Sidney Allen, who scored ten points. Another player making a difference was Jeremiah Miller, who scored seven points.

Pasco struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only an offensive rebound. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Sunlake is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season. As for Pasco, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.

Sunlake will be playing in front of their home fans against Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pasco, they will head out on the road to square off against River Ridge at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully River Ridge focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 33 on Saturday.
