Baseball Recap: Purdue Broad Ripple's Win Ends Three-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Purdue Broad Ripple was not the first on the board on Monday, but they got there more often. They walked away with a 9-5 win over the Indianapolis Crispus Attucks Tigers. For the Lynx, this counts as revenge for the 14-4 victory the Tigers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2022.

Kyler Jones spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and four unearned) runs on three hits and racked up 14 Ks. He is becoming a predictor of Purdue Broad Ripple's success: when he posts at least ten strikeouts the team is 4-1 (and 3-4 when he doesn't).
