Volleyball Recap: Lake Braddock Falls to Fairfax in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Lake Braddock had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Fairfax Lions by a score of 3-2. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Lake Braddock took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-27, 23-25, 25-23, 15-9.

Luciano Alva Cepedes paced Lake Braddock's offense, picking up 19 kills. Alva Cepedes got some help from Brady Miller and his 20 assists. Sebastian Ortiz-Torrey controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Lake Braddock will challenge Westfield at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fairfax, they will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against Annandale at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
