Basketball Game Recap: Laurel vs. Indian River

The Laurel Bulldogs fell to the Indian River Indians 31-28 in the teams' previous meeting in January; this time around, they exacted some revenge. Laurel made easy work of Indian River on Tuesday and carried off a 43-23 win. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Bulldogs had established a 35-16 advantage.

Laurel's victory brought them up to 13-5. Indian River's defeat pushed them down to 5-12.

Laurel will square off against Delmar on Thursday. Laurel won't have the home-court advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings. Indian River will be playing in front of their home fans against Early College on Thursday. Early College is looking for a pick-me-up after a 55-11 blowout loss to Lake Forest.
