Baseball Recap: Moniteau Falls Short of Curwensville in the Playoffs

Moniteau and Curwensville squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Moniteau had to settle for second. They came up short against the Golden Tide, falling 19-2. The Warriors just can't catch a break and have now endured seven defeats in a row.

Moniteau now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Curwensville, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-9.

Moniteau does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Curwensville, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Redbank Valley on the 26th.
