Preview: Community Vikings/Viqueens vs. Central Magnet
The Community Vikings/Viqueens will be playing at home against Central Magnet at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Community focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up eight on Tuesday.
Last Tuesday, Community came up short against Richland and fell 50-39.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Anna Haskins, who scored 15 points. She scored a full 38.5% of Community's points, the fourth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Brooklyn Yoes was another key contributor, scoring 7 points.
Meanwhile, Central Magnet was able to grind out a solid victory over Portland on Saturday, taking the game 47-39. The victory was just what Central Magnet needed coming off of a 59-35 loss in their prior game.
Their wins bumped Community to 2-2 and Richland to 3-0.
