Softball Recap: Handley Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Handley's offense. They came up short against the American Christian Academy Patriots on Tuesday, falling 11-0. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Tigers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Handley has also been struggling recently as they've lost 14 of their last 17 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 18-25-1 record this season. As for American Christian Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 20 of their last 21 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 32-15 record this season.

Handley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for American Christian Academy, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-4 victory against Prattville Christian Academy on the 6th.
