Berrien Springs had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.7 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Dowagiac Chieftains as they made off with a 69-47 win. Given the Shamrocks' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 88th, while the Chieftains are ranked 609th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Berrien Springs' victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-3. As for Dowagiac, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-15.

Berrien Springs wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 48-44 win against Godwin Heights on the 8th. As for Dowagiac, they will host South Haven at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in South Haven's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matchups.
