Football Recap: Johnsburg's Run of Four Straight Wins Now Over

Johnsburg and Durand/Pecatonica squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Johnsburg had to settle for second. They fell 18-13 to the Rivermen. Having soared to a lofty 45 points in the game before, the Skyhawks couldn't push the score so high this time.

Several Skyhawks players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ryan Franze, who picked up 126 receiving yards and one touchdown. Duke Mays handled things on the ground, rushing for 81 yards.
