Volleyball Recap: Kaellie Vandenbout Key Part of Team Effort in Demons Win

Dexter saw some tournament action on Saturday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Cuba Rams. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Demons.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Dexter to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kaellie Vandenbout, who had ten kills, ten aces, and three digs. Those three digs gave Vandenbout a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Emily DeLaRosa, who had 30 assists and three aces.

Dexter's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Cuba, their loss dropped their record down to 3-1.

Dexter has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Tucumcari on the 23rd. As for Cuba, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Hagerman on the 23rd.
