Carlynton suffered their closest loss since December 28, 2024 on Saturday. They fell just short of the East Allegheny Wild Cats by a score of 35-33. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cougars of the 45-42 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2024.

Carlynton's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
