Volleyball Recap: Elite Scholars Academy Takes a Loss

Elite Scholars Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Sandy Creek Patriots. If the Royal Knights were looking for revenge after losing 2-1 to the Patriots when the teams met back in August of 2019, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-13.

Elite Scholars Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Sandy Creek, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Elite Scholars Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Mount Vernon at 5:30 p.m. on the 21st. As for Sandy Creek, they have already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Landmark Christian on the 9th.
