The Lexington Minutemen came out on top in a nail-biter against the Concord-Carlisle Patriots , sneaking past 3-2 thanks in part to Gangal, who had 21 digs. She has been hot , having posted 13 or more digs the last six times she's played.
Lexington wouldn't go down easily and took Concord-Carlisle into a fifth set where they got it done with a four-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-17, 22-25, 20-25, 15-11.
Lexington was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 16 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Concord-Carlisle only served ten.
Concord-Carlisle's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Layli White, who had 12 digs.
