Football Game Preview: Yukon Millers vs. Norman North Timberwolves

Two dominant signal callers in Wyatt Jones and Nash Henry are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Yukon Millers will head out to take on the Norman North Timberwolves at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Yukon has given up an average of 33 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Yukon is headed into Friday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight games on Thursday. They were beaten by Union 49-20. While losing is never fun, the Millers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma football rankings (they are ranked 41st, while the Redhawks are ranked ninth).

Meanwhile, Norman North played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against Broken Arrow, falling 43-14. The Timberwolves were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-14.

Yukon now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Norman North, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.

Yukon suffered a grim 42-21 defeat to Norman North in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Millers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
