Basketball Game Preview: Fairfield Falcons vs. Westview Warriors

The Fairfield Falcons will face off against the Westview Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Fairfield is headed into the game having just posted their closest win since January 17, 2024 on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Fremont, sneaking past 41-38.

Meanwhile, Westview entered their tilt with Prairie Heights on Wednesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They managed a 40-35 victory over the Panthers.

Westview's win came from a few key players Fairfield will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Karis Weinberg, who posted 15 points. Janissa Lehman was another key player, putting up seven points and three steals.

Westview's win bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Fairfield, they have also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season.

Fairfield strolled past Westview when the teams last played back in January of 2024 by a score of 51-35. Will Fairfield repeat their success, or does Westview have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
