Volleyball Recap: Lake Fenton Comes Up Short

Lake Fenton lost against North Branch back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Blue Devils fell just short of the Broncos by a score of 2-1. The Blue Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Jillian Ferrill paced Lake Fenton's offense, picking up 16 kills. Ferrill got some help from Molly Rhind and her 18 assists. Ferrill was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Lake Fenton's defeat dropped their record down to 17-12. As for North Branch, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 27-10.

Lake Fenton has already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Cass Tech on the 18th. As for North Branch, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Anchor Bay on the 18th.
