Soccer Recap: Lucerne Valley Find Success

While Lucerne Valley's victory against Yucca Valley wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Mustangs had just enough and edged out the Trojans 3-2 on Thursday. Lucerne Valley found success even though the refs didn't miss a thing: three Lucerne Valley players were handed yellow cards.

They hit Yucca Valley with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Osmar Hernandez, Johnny Godoy, and Pablo Silva.

The win got Lucerne Valley back to even at 1-1.

Lucerne Valley and Yucca Valley will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matches. The next time the Mustangs see the pitch they'll take on Excelsior Charter at 3:00 p.m. on December 2. As for Yucca Valley, their break will end when they face Desert Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on December 2.
