Godby had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Franklin County Seahawks. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cougars also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Godby had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 17-25, 21-25, 25-17, 25-15, 15-13.

Godby's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Franklin County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Godby will square off against Lincoln at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Franklin County, they will venture away from home to take on FAMU DRS at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
