Softball Game Preview: Kingston Buccaneers vs. Sequim Wolves

The Kingston Buccaneers will head out to face off against the Sequim Wolves at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

On Monday, Kingston made easy work of Bremerton and carried off a 20-1 victory. Considering the Buccaneers have won six games by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sequim). They came out on top against Bremerton on Friday by a score of 21-2 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). The win was a breath of fresh air for the Wolves as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Kingston's victory bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Sequim, the win was their first on the road, bumping their record up to 3-9.

Kingston came out on top in a nail-biter against Sequim in their previous meeting two weeks ago, sneaking past 7-6. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Buccaneers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
