Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Roy). They came out on top against the Clearfield Falcons by a score of 71-64 on Friday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Royals as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Roy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jesse Jones out in front who posted ten points along with six assists and six boards. Tripp Randall was another key player, going 6 of 10 on his way to 15 points and seven rebounds.

Roy's victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 3-10. As for Clearfield, their loss was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-11.

Roy will host Woods Cross at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Roy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.2 points per game this season. As for Clearfield, they will head out to square off against Bountiful at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Bountiful's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
