It was a good run, but West Morris Central unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Wednesday. They took a 61-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Delbarton Green Wave. Sadly, that's the third time they've come up short against the Wolfpack this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 76-75 back in December of 2024.

West Morris Central's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-7. As for Delbarton, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Morris Central will square off against West Morris Mendham at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. West Morris Central has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 172 points over their last three matches. As for Delbarton, they will challenge Chatham at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Chatham has won three straight at home, while Delbarton won three straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
