Basketball Recap: St. Mary's Central Comes Up Short in High-Profile Contest with Minot

On Tuesday, St. Mary's Central faced Minot in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The St. Mary's Central Saints took a 67-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Minot Magicians. The Saints have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.

St. Mary's Central's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Minot, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 18-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Mary's Central will head out to take on Legacy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Minot, they will face off against Bismarck at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
