Basketball Recap: Celina Takes a Loss

Celina fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Jackson Center on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 52-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jackson Center Tigers. While the Bulldogs didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Tigers 15-4 in the first quarter.

Celina's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Jackson Center, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Celina wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 43-40 loss against Parkway on the 17th. As for Jackson Center, they will head out to take on Botkins at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
