Softball Recap: Pine Bluff Takes a Loss

Pine Bluff lost against Hot Springs back in April of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Zebras came up short against the Trojans, falling 14-4. The Zebras have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pine Bluff's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Hot Springs, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 3-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pine Bluff will host Parkview at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Patriots have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.43 runs per game on average), something the Zebras will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Hot Springs, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Sheridan at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Trojans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Yellowjackets have averaged an impressive 10.5 runs per game this season.
